So it has been an absolutely whirlwind week over here. We have been written up in a number of well respected sites and blogs including, All My Faves, Portland Examiner, TechCrunch, Hiking Trip Reports, and a number of additional sites. Overall we have seen some great exposure and are looking forward to additional exposure and user participation within the platform. The feedback that we have received from the community so far has been great as well and almost entirely very positive. There is clearly a need for a great portal that allows users to find all their adventures, near and far, and we think we are creating the solution.

We hope you are all enjoying the site as much as we are and hope that you all use it and help to make it a comprehensive resource!

Feel free to send all your comments to staff@adventuredrop.com

We are getting closer to an official launch. We are still working out some bugs and formatting issues but we have a lot of good feedback coming from our alpha/beta testers. Keep the bugs coming in everyone! Hopefully we can pound most of them out this week so we can start spreading the word! We love to hear everyones feedback and hope that you all will continue to help us make the site better going towards launch day!

AdventureDrop is not only a comprehensive outdoor adventure activity guide, it also makes planning your next trip easier than ever. With the Save to Itinerary and Print to PDF capabilities, users can find all of the adventures they want, and save the information directly to a PDF, absolutely FREE! This allows users to take printouts and organized guides with them absolutely free. They include, pictures, reviews, descriptions, Wikipedia information, and more! This technology allows adventurers to streamline the planning process so they have the tools they need while on the trails, mountains, rivers, and beaches. Go prepared and have a better time while exploring the greater outdoors!

So, it has been a long hard road but the Beta site is almost ready for release. We are still working on the last few bugs, details, and things that always seem to pop up in the last week of development. It wont be long until we start to invite our friends and travel buddies to check out the new site and how everything functions. It is looking great and coming together better than we expected. It will definately be a usefull tool for all of those looking to get out and do some exploring and adventuring. And in this economy, it is a great opportunity to find some great things to do close to home that wont cost an arm and a leg! We will let you know as we progress closer to our launch date!
