The Red Clay Valley Scenic Byway includes 27 secondary roads that form a network closely linked to the Red Clay Creek. Found in the piedmont province, it is characterized by rolling hills, ridges, and valleys that sculpt the surrounding landscape.
Driving the Byway
The network is bounded on the north by the Pennsylvania state line, on the east by the Kennett Pike (Route 52), on the south by Barley Mill Road and on the south and west by Lancaster Pike (Route 48/41).
